- Range is near completion and will be ready for league action in the spring and summer of 2012. Check back here and listen to local media for information on team sign up and registration. There will be meeetings held after the first of the year to begin organizing leagues and teams. The organization has spent a good chunk of its money on construction costs. We need to generate some cash flow, so we are encouraging you to purchase a membership in our organization. This will entitle you to slightly better rates for shooting once we begin.
- All three trap houses have been installed and wire pulled to their location. Lids have been secured to each one of the trap houses. It is our goal to have at least one or both of the traps we own installed by the middle of February as the high school shooting season begins practice by that time.
· The high school season runs six to seven weeks from early March through the first weekend in May, wrapping up with the State High School Trapshoot in Doniphan, Nebraska the first weekend in May. It is the largest youth trapshoot of its kind in the world!
Status on Complex:
On Tuesday May 3, 2011 a group of volunteers met at the future Elkhorn Valley Sportsman Club site to flag the location of the clubhouse and prepare for the installation of electrical lines, and also dig holes for construction of the trap houses.
Many new members have joined the Elkhorn Valley Sportsman Club in the last two months. We're looking to double the membership in the next year. More Information on Membership
